Oddball Cat Toys

One day I decided that I wanted to learn how to knit! I picked up the supplies and two days later, I had a scarf. Angie, my silly grey and white cat, wouldn't stop sitting on the scarf, she thought it was the greatest thing! It had me curious. I created a small yarn piece for some sort of project (I don't remember what it was supposed to be anymore), and Angie decided to take the piece from me and use it as a toy instead! It rolled up nicely, so she carried it over to the stairs and proceeded to bounce around with it for several minutes, going from stair to stair! I've never seen her act so crazy before! The idea popped into my head to create unique cat toys for cats. They are meant to be odd, unusual and very different. That's their charm and purpose! How many times have we bought pretty store bought toys for our cats and they go ignored? Cats have a hard time resisting the urge to attack these weird cat toys. I create them with a cat's senses in mind- sound, visual, and scent- when I make each piece, to keep them interested and playing.
